I dont think we will take a ruckman when all those mids are available. Just cannot see it myself.

Mids are always available. Good rucks are not. Always take the tall.

Another train of thought says never take rucks with top 10 pick.

More so if gun mid  are still on the table

Brodie Grundy Highlights.......  http://bigpondvideo.com/AFL/392333/brodie-grundy-2011-highlights/

The kid also played senior football this year with Sturt so would be a realistic chance of debuting this season, could be handy if Vickery doesn't stand up ;)

Why do you say that Georgies? (am not being sarcastic when I ask this..aside from highlights i have never seen him play)
What do you like about the kid?  Isn't there a knock on his pace but otherwise ticks all the boxes?

It wouldn't surprise me if we know who we definitely want already. We have in recent drafts since FJ became head recruiter seemed to have locked in early on who we wanted with our first pick and not wavered from it - Ellis, Conca, Martin, Vickery, Cotch and Jack.

Quayle has said today we haven't spoken to Grundy.

Could it be that we weren't expecting him to be available?
nah, just no need with wood and stephenson in the wings
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways my ways,” says the Lord.

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are my ways higher than your ways,
And my thoughts than your thoughts."

Mid, Ruck - it doesnt matter. It's about the quality of the kid. If this Grundy chap is going to be a poo-hot ruckman one day then why not take him? We need more quality across the park.

Keep it simple, stupid: BEST AVAILABLE.

Grundy's highlights are more impressive than Vlastuin's to me.
