Pick 9 any ideas.

For mine id like to get Jake Stringer. Imo if not for his injury he would go top 3 quite easily.
Nick Vlastuin is another.

One scenario would be Josh Caddy at 9 if possible.

Would we be interested if pick 9 could get a mini draft pick? Not sure how Martin and Hogan from WA compare with this years draftees.
Wondering how seriously the club would look at trading down as we did in the Reiwoldt draft. If we're looking at someone like Vlastuin then we might be able to downgrade and still get him.

For me, would he happy with any of the midfielders like Wines, O'Rourke, Mayes or Vlastuin.

reckon both melbourne and the dogs are in the box seat to snare martin.
melbourne have 3. 4 and 13 reckon they would be prepared to give up 4 for martin. it means they still have 3 and 13 in the first round and pick up a top 10 pick in viney at 26 under f/s.

wb have picks 5 and 6 could see them  offer up one of them for martin and remain in the first rnd.

yep would be happy with any of those you mentioned still think stringer a better prospect than any of them though.

Possibly. From what I've read, GCS won't trade pick 2 for a mini draft pick. If they force Melbourne to use pick 3 on Viney, they can't trade pick 4 so they are out.

Dogs are in prime position for one of the picks, be interesting to see what Port and Lions will do if the Dees pass.

Not sure it's the best strategy for us, given it's a strong draft and we need more immediate improvement. I prefer us to play safe with a midfielder of good character. Not sure I would go for Garlett, we have been burnt too many times.

This is not true! Free agency compensation picks are yet to be allocated, this will again re shuffle the draft order :thumbsup
