Shouldn't this thread be players who left and played in finals?  That would have been an improvement on their careers at the Tiges.

Sometimes I wonder why our good players stay. Cambo, Knighter, Deledio they could all have scarpered for greener pastures

And why do players stay at the Dogs?  Gee I'd leave in a heartbeat.

Guns like Cotchin Lids Newman Riew - havent played any finals at all and "lesser lights" in Morton Rodan McKee all get to play in a GF

I didnt include Ottens as a lesser light - quality player.
