The club is based in Mandurah, south of Perth near Peel inlet.

Hawthorn, and I'll explain why:
-I originally chose Richmond when I first came to Melbourne in 1971, because most of my mates at Primary school were Tiger fans. So was the neighbour who took me and my Dad to the G to see our first game, so I guess I can thank/blame him.
However, there were certainly good portents for me to have followed Hawthorn at the time, if I'd known:
-They won their first ever flag in 1961, the year I was born
-They won their 2nd in 1971, the year I started following footy (as I said)
-As a friend of mine once said, a lot of their supporter base seems to be made up of angry Poms, so I gues I fit the bill there too.
-If I'd have been able to look into the future and see the 30 years of misery that lay ahead for Richmond compared to the glut of Premierships through the 80s,90s and Naughties for Hawthorn, then yeah I would definitely have chosen the Hawks. But like that robot kid in AI, once you make that imprint on your soul, for better or worse, you are stuck with it.

I am the same, had every chance to barrack for the Hawks, worst still, my wife barracks for Hawthorn and asked me last wednesday who was playing in the GF.
That is truly hateful.

Best thing you can do now is ask her who won.

“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways my ways,” says the Lord.

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are my ways higher than your ways,
And my thoughts than your thoughts."

Ridonkulous. I make a good club sandwhich. With two pickled onions just for coach.

I asked for a Club Sandwich once but they said I wasn't a Member... :P
