Probably would have given him another year myself.However for me he did his dash in the first game   this year against Carlton when they obviously targetted him and continously played through him

Richmond key position player Jayden Post has not been offered a contract for the 2013 season, as the Club finalises its list ahead of the National Draft.

The 22-year-old played a total of 30 games for the Tigers over four seasons, and kicked six goals.

Post is among several senior-listed players to leave Tigerland at the end of 2012 season, with Angus Graham traded to Adelaide and Kel Moore retiring, following the delistings of Daniel Connors, Jeromey Webberley, Andrew Browne and Dean MacDonald.

Richmond currently has four selections in the first two rounds of the National Draft - 9, 32, 34 and 43.

6 gals in his career  :-[ I obviously have over rated this bloke. Is a shame. Thought he could have been a solid KPP. When he first broke into the side I thought he showed signs he could be a tough competitor but perhaps WP had him summed up early - not enough heart, not enough fight, not enough determination to improve. Disappointing really.

What a waste only 22 yrs old, 30 games played. Could have been anything??
If you don't give it 100% your gonna get the arse, and slowly they're dissapearing  :shh

Disappointing decision. Someone must have something against him. There were times he should have got a game but didn't. The club easily could have put Newman on veteran list. There was definately 1 more year worth of persistance
