Petterd had a team high 9 inside 50's against Carlton, this should never be allowed to happen again.
Can anyone remember Petterd spotting any of our forwards on the tit, I can't, rainbow kicks to FF don't win you regular games of footy. We scrounged that win which was nice, but I want to see our best players doing the most important kicks because that's how you get places in this caper.

spot on, the game plan is nqr when you have Pettard on the end of the play. Happens a fair bit with Jackson too. Its hair tearing time when you see Dusty or Lids handball off to the likes of Grigg, Pettard, Edwards or Jackson  ;D

Why wouldn't you handball it to Grigg, he is open. Come to think of it, he is always open around the 70m mark. Are opposition teams deliberately leaving him unguarded so he slams it into 50 without looking or to an outnumbered contest. Surely not!

They sure are. Just look at the ludicrous situation where Grigg pulled out a picnic rug. Knocked up a few snags and burgers on the bbq in row D, demolished them and then still had time to bomb it in.  :whistle

Yes give it off to Grigg - noted for his poise, well thought-out kicks & pin-point delivery.

There's a reason opposition sides don't bother paying as much attention to players like Grigg.

Showed hunger and punched and defended well. His kicking is still pretty bad though

Petterd gives his absolute all. Just about our best player tonight. Don't expect he'll get much love on here though.

Credit where it's due, he rarely loses a contest. Has a real crack. Just a pity he has a completely flawed kicking action.
Wouldnt get a game in a top side. Thankfully for him we are far from that.

From Richo ...

I can see why Ricky Petterd is so highly regarded within the four walls at Tigerland.

With 28 disposals, including a team-high 13 contested possessions, four clearances, plus an equal team-high nine marks, Petterd well and truly justified the decision of the Richmond selectors in rushing him back into the side after he’d missed the previous match with a minor groin injury.  Petterd’s versatility is so valuable to the Tigers.  He can play back, forward, through the midfield, can win the ball on the inside or outside, and he has the ability to hit the scoreboard.  Throw in the fact he’s as brave as they come, and you certainly have a valuable team member.

A firm part of the side right now , we have far greater problems than Ricky p , he s going alright just quietly , comforting to know that's what the experts think too :shh

Hardwick loves him like Wallace loved McMahon. The rest of us know better.

Maybe Hardwick knows better.

Was bound to have a good game at some stage... We wont be going anywhere though if Ricky is a permanent fixture in our best side

Richo forgot to mention his ball drop
Then again Richo had a similar issue for the first part of his career
Petterd is going ok although his kicking is a concern

Was pretty darn good against Carlton as well.
