Cannot believe that just on 3 weeks out fromt he opening game of the season tickets & reserved seats for Club members and the general public still haven't gone on sale  :banghead :banghead

Only tickets currently on sale are for AFL & MCC members

Pull you collective fingers out MCC, AFL & ticketek  :banghead :banghead

WP, this was from twitter 20hrs ago, sorry can't link it

"Tickets to @AFL Round 1 matches at @MCG on sale to club members March 13 (9am-9pm) and public March 14 (9am)."

Pretty annoying really

Because ppl who are organised would like to know its done and dusted, sorted or locked and loaded ;) why should we as supporters wait till a week before the game, to stuff around looking for good seats. When a few weeks out take our time to select purchase and receive our tickets

Carlton, meanwhile, will be without tough midfielder David Ellard (hamstring) and rookies Andrew Collins (ankle) and Rhys O'Keeffe (heel) for the next five weeks.

And draftee Nick Graham won't play for two months after arthroscopic surgery to relieve swelling in his knee.

Key forward Jarrad Waite (calf) won't resume full training for two weeks and is in extreme doubt for the March 22 clash against the Tigers.

I just heard that about waite on SEN, OE.
I reckon its a tactic and hopefully Chappy is up for the task of spltting him in half, Waite is the missing piece in that carlton puzzle and I'm sure he will play.

Wasn't the last time he was in doubt when he kicked mcguane in the balls? Was well enough to do that the .....

more chance of Chappy splitting a cab ride back to the eastern suburbs with him than splitting him in half

Judd will have only one preseason game before playing us. So there's a chance he'll be underdone in round 1.

Besides Waite (which I smell porkies anyway, he'll play), those previously mentioned players have about as much impact on Carlton's round 1 line up as Arsebury does on ours.

I remember a few years ago Carlton went into rnd 1 with 5 regulars underdone and  by the 15 minute mark of the first qtr it was curtains for the 2009 season.

carlton are red hot favorites for r1 and if we are not 100% on our game from the start then we will be in major trouble very early on in this game.

If that is the case grand pickled one, then we have aquired the wrong gorilla for our backline.

Isincerley hope that is not the case this year, we need to blow them out of the water early on. And as supporters need to chant louder than their wanker supporters

CARLTON says star midfielder Chris Judd is a certain starter for its Round 1 blockbuster against Richmond despite his absence from the NAB Cup.
