McIntosh wants to stay and reports he wants out after missing the GF have been greatly media exaggerted (take a bow Mitch Cleary).

Source is as good as it gets, very close relative.
Exactly. Just lazy, shallow journalism. Finds an easy narrative to exploit. But with all the trade work happening, no one will ever follow it up or hold him accountable.

Tigers open to McIntosh offers

Tim Michell at Marvel Stadium
Herald-Sun

Richmond says it will consider offers for wingman Kamdyn McIntosh but remains hopeful he will be at Punt Road in 2020.

McIntosh signed a new two-year deal with the Tigers in July but was one of the hardluck stories of the finals when he missed out on the club’s VFL and AFL premierships.

The 25-year-old was held over from the VFL decider after Jack Graham was injured in Richmond’s preliminary final win over Geelong, only for Marlion Pickett to debut in the Grand Final.

Tigers football boss Neil Balme said on Monday the club wanted to hold onto McIntosh but would consider the right offer for the 90-gamer.

"We are keen for him to stay. But if someone is really keen and makes a really big offer and they want to do something with him and he's keen to pursue it, we wouldn't dismiss it completely,” Balme said.

“But if it was up to us now we would say he is a required contracted player. Again you've got to take the individual into account as well as the club.”

The Herald-Sun has most likely mixed up Kmac with Menadue but they've got Kmac to Freo as one of the 25 outstanding trades yet to be done.

Here’s a look at some of the mooted deals which still need to be done:

25. Kamdyn McIntosh to Fremantle

McIntosh to remain at Tigerland

By Pete Ryan
The Age
16 Oct 2019

Tigers' wingman Kamdyn McIntosh looks set to remain with Richmond despite being overlooked for the Grand Final. He extended his contract until the end of 2021 late in the year but only played one senior game after the deal was announced.

Although relatively happy with the Tigers McIntosh was understood to be open to a move if another club was able to provide the promise of greater opportunities however with nothing concrete coming to fruition he will back himself to win his spot back as the club attempts to go back to back.

Based on the GF team, I'd be happy for him to take BEllis' spot.

Baker and bolton still questionable imo. Stack was better in the backline than baker, thats not to take away from bakers efforts though.

Our rep. on SEN just said Kmac was never going. It was all just speculation.
