Aside from mostly playing wing this guy has gone forward, back, now midfield and tag.

It's amazing really.

We used to marvel at Shedda's versatility but this guy just does whatever is required.

Lmao settle down, arguably his best game since the '20 GF but his direct opponent still got 32 touches and was the Scum's BOG... :shh

Must have had your eyes closed all match.

Cripps had 32 disposals, mostly without impact. Close work from Hopper and KMac curtailed him very well.

I'd suggest it was you who had you eyes closed in the first half if you think Cripps had mimimal impact as they got to 41 up, when KMac was supposedly wearing him like a glove. It was the second half when Cripps' impact diminished which was partially due to him going into the ruck, which clearly wore him down. Either way I'm just glad we finally have a coach who at least believes in taggers. :shh

Yeah he faded, as did their hole team. Got ahead of themselves, complacent, couldn't handle the heat when we brought it.

No need to miss clawski when you're around though.

Lmao - one player and said he had a good game just disagreed about how good it actually while also complimenting the coaching -yes very claw-like of me... :propeller

Also agree that Carlton are a hole team. :shh

Richmond will celebrate Kamdyn McIntosh's contribution to the club when the West Australian runs out for the 200th time in the yellow and black against North Melbourne at the MCG. The Tigers will be handing out headbands to fans on Sunday to pay tribute to the veteran wingman.

The 31-year-old didn't secure a deal for 2025 until after the trade period, but has played the first nine games of the season to prove he still has as much to offer on-field as he does outside the two hours each weekend.

"If you ask him, he probably didn't think he'd get to 100 games, let alone a two-time premiership player and a great Richmond man. We will celebrate that on Saturday. It is something we do really well as a footy club and that’s celebrate our people," Yze said.

"I preach to our players that obviously you've got to be a good footballer, but a great teammate; that's exactly what he is and that’s the reason why he has lasted so long. He was in here this morning at 6.30 getting his body right, doing some touch with our younger players; he is a great person to have around our footy club and he has been a master at his role on that wing for 10 odd years and done it at a high level. We will celebrate that this weekend with our Tiger army."

Adem Yze reflected on McIntosh’s significant milestone and acknowledged the impact he has had on the Club over the years.

“If you ask him, he probably wouldn’t have thought he would get to 100 games, let alone a two-time premiership player and a great Richmond man,” Yze said.

“So, we will celebrate that on Saturday once he gets through training, and it’s something we do really well as a footy club, and that’s to celebrate our people.”

McIntosh is the fourth most experienced player in the current Richmond line-up, hence why the 31-year-old is now seen as someone the younger players in the group can look up to.

“I preach to our players around being a great footballer but also a great teammate, and that’s exactly what he is, and it’s the reason why he has lasted so long,” Yze said.

“He was in here this morning at 6:30am getting his body right, doing some touch with our younger players, and he is a great person to have around the footy club.

“He has been a master in his role. He has played on that wing for 10 odd years and has done it at a high level, and as I said, we will celebrate that this weekend with our Tiger Army.”

I’ve alway been a fan, he is not the most skilled in our team but one of our most valuable due to selflessness as a team first mentor ,who gives his best  when he is on the field even if it’s to playing a negating role.
He is a good person and is an important part of our rebuild!

“I never really thought I would be a 200-game player, to be honest,” he told The West Australian while laughing at a billboard celebrating the achievement over a Melbourne freeway. “It's a massive achievement, and I'm so grateful for the people around me who have helped me through.

Thought he stood up in the clinches today, nailed that goal in the last

Disappointing that we couldn't get the win in his milestone match

Richmond’s Kamdyn McIntosh reveals fan abuse escalating at games and online

Aaron Kirby
The West Australian
Mon, 19 May 2025

West Australian Tiger Kamdyn McIntosh has revealed fan behaviour towards AFL players is “100 per cent” getting worse, calling on fans to think before they act.

Player interactions with fans in the crowd have been under the spotlight in 2025, with the AFL fining multiple players for responding to vulgarity with vulgarity.

The scrutiny has been particularly intense in the west with young Eagles prodigy Harley Reid constantly engaged by supporters during games and receiving a $1000 clip for flipping the bird at a Brisbane fan in round two.

But Port Adelaide dynamo Willie Rioli’s threats saga, that saw him miss the Adelaide showdown over a string of inappropriate messages to rivals, again exposed the rampant racism that persistently hangs over Indigenous stars.

While social media and online abuse has dogged the league for decades, McIntosh says even face-to-face abuse is escalating.

“It’s 100 per cent getting worse out there through social media and copping it on the sidelines,” he told The West Australian ahead of his 200th match on Sunday.

“There’s just no repercussions for people. To be honest, everyone can get away with whatever they want to say out there.

“Even on social media, who’s tracking it? At the end of the day, there’s nothing stopping people from creating fake accounts just to s**** comment online. There’s just people out there who have nothing else to do with their time.”

The two-time premiership star added he sympathises with the AFL over how much they can do to protect players, especially online.

However, McIntosh said he felt the league needed to be more understanding of players and the pressure they are under when it comes to punishing their reactions to abuse.

“It’s hard to say (they need to do more to protect players) to the AFL when the AFL doesn’t control social media,” he said.

“I don’t know the answer to that. How does the AFL stop people? It’s a bit out of their control.

“But I guess at games on the boundary line (I’d like to see more done), but again I’m not sure how you’d go about it without putting more money into it, because that means you’ve got to put more resources there.

“I think, though, from my point of view, it’s the punishment that gets dealt to AFL players. Let’s say a first-year player is given a $2500 fine; that’s a pretty extreme fine.”

As for the fans, the West Australian said he hoped they could remember players were no less human than they are and were all trying their best to perform for their sides.

“I just want (fans) to understand that we love playing the game out there, and we honestly don’t want to do anything but play AFL footy. If we are out there, we are giving 100 per cent,” he said.

“There’s moments in a game where a player might miss a tackle or things like that, but the reality is you can’t be at 100 per cent effort 100 per cent of the time because it’s too hard the game.

“But just understanding we’re out there trying to be the best version of ourselves and no one should get knocked for that.”
