Do you expect Coburg / the future Richmond VFL side to give the flag a shake?

Once we get our own magoo's, it should be the clubs priority to get back the Beefcake as he will be a second grade specialist by then.  :thumbsup

My understanding is before long we will have to sign pure VFL Richmond listed footballer to have enough players to have a stand alone reserves side. Is this correct? I assume this is what the Collingwood and Geelong models do. Hence we are going to need to get someone. Gus, Tambling, Toy (if he did not get drafted), Garlett, Wood (ditto Toy) I assume we will be looking at. With a long term view if they do come good to draft them to the senior list.

i reckon you'd be better off picking up older blokes to give some experience and guidance to you young blokes on the list proper.
You don't get any preference to upgrading VLF listed players so if you develop youngsters it could be for the benefit of other clubs, rather than your own

So are my ways higher than your ways,

I spose you could hide them in the VFL 2's if the start showing too much form.

"Before long" - seeing we aren't fielding our own VFL side until 2014 I think there is plenty of time to worry about the VFL list side of things. We will have to a VFL only list as it is a requirement. How often and how many play each week will solely be determined by the RFC injury list on a week to week basis

FWIW - Geelong had 18 on it's VFL only list in 2012 and Collingwood had 21.
