Why would anybody pay money to buy the place when you can get the same result from being appointed to the board.

A private owner would sack most of the overpaid hangers on at the club and also get rid of the people who got jobs because of mates working in the industry. Its a disgrace that members have to pay for these bludgers. I hope all clubs get privatised so that membership fees all come down across the board. Every supporter of every club is being ripped off by these bludgers working in footy clubs.
