Balme is currently General Manager Football Operations of Geelong Football Club where he has brought a wealth of knowledge. He has played a pivotal role at the Cats and has helped the club secure on field success winning 2 AFL Premierships ( 2007 and 2009 ) and runner up to Hawthorn in 2008. Geelong also won the pre season NAB Cup in 2009 under Balme’s reign
