NICKNAME FOR DELEDIO

Heard the poor kid on 3AW (I think) When asked about a nickname he made a vauge refernce to "the lid". He sounded dissapointed.

COME ON PEOPLE. We can do better than that.
The hunt is on for a nickname for one of the players who will take the Tigers to the top in a few years.

I'll start off with........

He might have been hesitant rather than disappointed Cain. At the intra-club match I'm sure his teammates were calling him dildo. :-\

Yeah I saw that, since his last name is so close to a girl's best friend, how about Diamonds.  ;D

How about D-Lid (a la David Rodan with D-Rod)? I find myself calling him D-Lid all the time without actually thinking about it. Catches on. That and 'dildo'.

A tad off topic but me and my friends have a couple more for other players...

Danny "Goose" Meyer - derived from the length of his neck. ;D
Mark "Suitcase" Chaffey - most likely you've heard this before. The way he stands resembles someone holding two suitcases.
Alex "Happy" Gilmour - Happy Gilmour
Wayne "Angry Pills" Campbell - from the intra club match where he played in the "possibles" team. Friends said he was not happy.

Mark "Ottens" Graham - resembles the appearance of Brad Ottens from a distance.
