The most frustrating aspect of the live stream tonight was how the screen kept freezing up. No wait- that was Richmond :(

Most frustrating for me is the missing players. If the club said from the get go they weren't going to play it wouldn't bother me in the slightest. But they listed a pretty full strength line up and omitted basically every good player we have, why do they have to talk poo all the time?

Bugger me that was disappointing tonite.  I was o looking forward to the game.  We really had a Golden opportunity to lure another 1000 members but we blew it again.  It's the same old goof balls making the same old mistakes.....problem is some of these goofballs are I our leadership group.  I know
we had plenty out but the lack of skills and gameplan worries the poo out of me

Actually, in all seriousness that's what ticked me off too YR - it was just false advertising. They originally named this really strong squad with only Maric, Grimes and Foley missing from our best 22. Then on the night suddenly there's no Cotchin, Deledio, Riewoldt, Vickery,Rance or Houli. We did get treated once again to Jackson, McGuane and White putting on a skills clinic though, so all was not lost :help

Well we did slightly better against the All-Stars last night  than we did way back in 1983 lol

All-Stars              37.11 (233)
def
Richmond/Mildura 14.11 (95)

Every club, barring Essendon in 2007, has been flogged by the All-Stars over the past decade.

i noticed early and i believe Gilby said as well that it was a man on man match, there was structure to our play and not once did i see a zone.  Obviously Dimma just matched the young blokes against their opponant to see how they went.  Nothing to take out other than on an individual player basis.

Was a bit disappointed not to see Gideon. And very disappointed in Chris Knights

The all stars always put in hard, they're representing their people so its understandable.

Rampster i know is a tiger, my comment was in jest, alluding to him being on drugs.  :whistle

i'll have a watch of the game again later, hopefully the quality is better.

i dont think the NAB Cup is our focus.  We'll be aiming at being there in Sept so a game 2 weeks before our 1st NAB Cup game really doesnt mean much and its been shown many times in the past that preseason means little.

 :thumbsup

they cleary were just out there for a bruise free run
no accountability at all no tight zone defence it was just a run
when is bruise free footy like that u know they are not interested
skills were what we were looking at and we havent learnt anything new
jackson and white still cant kick or make the right decisions
nahas is a pretender and joke and still runs in circles and thinks he can evade everyone
mguane is crap
we have no second ruck , hope vickery comes on and shines

Did you notice Elton have a go in the ruck..  Can jump.

agree with you on Nahas.. Could be collateral when/if a young bloke steps up. He just isnt a midfielder and his size just hasnt been kind to him  (football wise)  i dont mind White, he may not be 1st choice but he can play a role and always seems to pop up for a goal or 2 coming off the bench as a sub.

How did "the lockup" go? Surely he kicked 10 goals as he's going to be our savior up forward? :whistle
he showed more than your false messiah  :shh

Nor are your ways my ways,” says the Lord.

So are my ways higher than your ways,
And my thoughts than your thoughts."

The worst part was the lack of fight when Morris got in a.fight.

Same as last year.

Its clear my heinous and scandalous attacks of last night  :lol have cut some of you to the bone ... all I can suggest is that you blokes look at the calendar and chill out a little bit. In the end, its just a game and people in here last night were taking the mickey. Some of you are far to serious and take this forum too seriously. That is all.
