The AFL website has bothered to put up any of the rest of the game. They just have 3 copies of the 2nd qtr instead . It's the worst website of any major professional sport.

The AFL website has bothered to put up any of the rest of the game. They just have 3 copies of the 2nd qtr instead . It's the worst website of any major professional sport.

They have the 3rd up but not the 4th. Same with the Melb/North thing to they have the first "3 quarters" but not the 4th

Hirdy stated MORE than thrice in the lead up that we WOULDN"T make the NAB GF, even though Commentators & such said many times a win COULD see us make it. & I think even before the tri game he said we wouldn't or didn't want to. Read between the lines folks.

To ensure we didn't, he, as the Masters (sheeds) apprentice knows how to engineer a loss. How? Train the players into the ground leading up to the game - take 'em up 3 days early, away from all routine - play them out of possie, put players who are underdone in for their first full run and experiment all manner of stuff. Where do you think Dean Bailey learnt how to do it?

So I think we might be seeing it as a positive that with all that going on we still were in front against both the woods & tiges with less than 5 to go & had to really try to lose. If you watch the last five of the C wood game with this in mind you can see it.

Essendon, Adelaide, WC and Freo have the option to play or not due to playing Round 1 a week earlier. Essendon have decided they don't need the practice.
