Griffiths should play Vickery's forward role.

This isn't a "dig" at Vickery.

I believe we are wasting Griffiths attacking talents in the backline.

Griffiths is a natural CHF.

Vickery is a natural Ruckman and smarter than we think around the football.

Vickery worries about body positioning and forgets he is 200 cms and only needs to jump and extend those arms and will be hard to beat.

Griffiths is a natural at marking and is more agile than Vickery.

They have invested 3-4 years with Vickery up forward and at best he is good.

Griffiths has had roughly 2-3 years working down back and doesn't look confident.

Out of Griffiths and Astbury to stay CHB with Chaplin, Grimes and Rance would be Astbury.

You will not beat Griffiths in a marking contest when he is at full stretch!

Yes, time is nigh.
DIMMA - You will be held ACCOUNTABLE...

“We are really excited about what we have brought in. We have got great depth of players that can take us where we need to go. We are just putting some cream on the top at the moment,” he said.

Let him play at Coburg at CHF and consistently dominant, ATM he has done next to nothing in the forward line except get injured

I would play Jack Riewoldt at CHF and put Ben Griffiths at FF. Vickery can just continue in his normal role.

More agile... did u see vickery mark it at full speed at his toes?

IMO the

Jack off
Griffiths chef
Vickery fp/2nd ruck makes a lot of sense giving our list.

NAB is a perfect chance to at least try it. Would like to see them rest Riewoldt for one NAB game and just see how we go. Provided Jack is fit enough to miss one considering his late start to the pre season.

Should we move Vickery to CHB?

I like what they're doing now. Keep Griff at CHB.
Provides a matchup that we lack.
2015.

For a bloke who has played a handfull of games and can barely stay on the park we are placing an awful lot of importance on him .

Griffith is not the first choice as a tall backman either. I would love to see him take the third tall forward spot over A.Edwards and McGuane but they seem to be protecting him while he gains size and experience at the moment plus to cover Grimes who seems even more injury prone than he does at present. He has to play consistently strong football for Coburg regardless of his position imo to earn his spot in the team though. I like the competition we now seem to have for that third tall defender between Griff, Grimes, Astbury and even Darrou. Makes us a far more flexible and competitive unit as a whole.

Agree!

Give Griffiths time in the forward line!

Hardly a prude but he's not a wingman bro
