Paul Roos on foxfooty on the couch said he won't be coaching the demons.

F them and F North.
Stuart and Will our Sen callers should be happy the weather is deteriorating and the snow season is about to begin with a flurry. Like a flurry of goals against the Dees. :lol :rollin :lol

I hope the Dees keep the status quo for another week. The more they remain the same, the better the scoreboard will look on Sunday for us  ;D.

Edit: Cheers tiger101. Good to see.

Great to see Melbourne showing some stability and leadership albeit from a ringer who has no emotional tie with the people and the club. ;D

Hopefully the MNCK 186 happens against us. (Mark Neeld Coach Killer)
If not it will happen in one of three weeks after us.
Either way if we focus and go about it right way we will get close to 100 if not pass it. :thumbsup

Maybe this might be his last game.
Poor bastard.
Melbourne ruining the careers of players and coaches alike just as we have for many many years.

The demon's fans won't like what they read today but nor should they. The team has gone backwards to some degree under Neeld and his in the papers today saying they've got a couple years of rebuilding ahead of them.

Quote
''There's no short-term fix, it's a long-term fix,'' Neeld said.
''We're doing exactly what everyone said the football club needed to do two to three years ago.''
He said there were already early signs of improvement, however. ''If you look at our past month, three of those games, the effort and all the combative stats have been particularly good, and when you're dealing with inexperienced groups you're going to have weeks where it's not so good.''
Neeld said it was also impossible to tell how many players were performing to their potential due to their inexperience. ''We've got 13 players out there tomorrow who have played under 50 games … how many players with under 50 games play to their full potential?''
Neeld said Richmond players had around 90 games under their belts and even a win for Melbourne would not turn the situation around quickly.
''Our aim is to be competitive for as long as we possibly can and that's where we're at,'' he said.
He said the club's plan of a complete facelift would take between three to five years to complete.

Yes Davey and Jamar should be ready in 5-6 years.

Needed to go one on one and get them competitive.
At least that will make them accountable and give them an appetite for the contest.
Round 23 will be his last game.

Sylvia is a complete knob jockey so you would imagine Dr Turf would know anything important when it comes to jockeys.

The Dees are 70 pts down and there's still almost another half to go. Neeld might be saved from scrutiny though with North choking big time.

If we let Melbourne get Roos without us having a crack I will be shattered.

Was just thinking the same thing. Are there any other genuine options?

For Melbourne, Brett Ratten, Eade, Choco Williams.

For us I think the options are limited, has to be Roos or Williams, who is unlikely to take the job out of loyalty.

Leigh Matthews would be a good get for us I think, we need a coach big enough to make tough calls without fear or favour.
