What a silly maggot the journo is, like the relevance of 1997, we must be facing up to R3 with the same side, genius :lol

reckon the journo s spot on.  what hes saying is the very best scenario for us is scraping into the 8. its nothing new most people before the start of the yr had us in a group of about 6 teams challenging for 7th or 8th.
based on our actual performance in two wins id say nothing has changed. the performances have been nothing to write home about but hey it seems most disagree.  when the better players get hurt and we miss em for 6 to 8 weeks watch it fall away then.  but hey if you play bruise free footy you arent likely to cop too many injuries perhaps that is the plan lol.

We have deafeted two teams that were "cherry ripe".

We have been wasteful up forward, slow to create space and not using our running players.

Greetings, all.

I'm a Brit who has just started watching Aussie Rules (I recently moved to Hong Kong and I can't stay up late enough to watch the soccer).  A mate of mine from Bacchus Marsh suggested I support Richmond, so here I am.  Turns out that he thought that was a good call because, as a Liverpool FC supporter, he thought Richmond's glorious past, uncertain future, and delusional support suited me best (his own team is Geelong).  The cap certainly fits for Liverpool, I'll wait to see whether it does for Richmond.

I'm exactly the sort of distant, unconnected supporter that I would be scathing about with my Liverpool hat on - apologies in advance for that.  I'm certainly pleased with the team I've chosen to support so far though (even though the game against Carlton was a bit sweaty at the end).

Cheers

Welcome on board.  Great choice of club, hang on for the ride of your life.  Not recommended if you have a weak heart or timid character though!!   :gotigers

You sure you support Richmond? Your comments aren't very accurate and i have reservations on whether you attend any games at all.

Thanks very much - it all sounds like very familiar territory.
