A. Edwards would have to get a game this week after another 5 at Coburg. Really missed someone across half forward last night.

Outs- Helbig, White, Nahas, Batchelor, Ellis (Ellis was very good last night, but still prefer Tuck in.. Nothing wrong with making these kids really work for a game. And against Geelong we need big bodies)

Ins- Edwards, Chaplin, King, Morris, Tuck

Axel's not far away and also think Dea won't be far away from getting a game too.
Grigg and Houli will need to be good in the next couple of weeks if they are to retain there spots.

Drop Ellis? you have got to be joking, what sort of MSG does that send?

Batchelor should remain in, is a better mid size than petterd.

Out - helbig, Nahas, petterd, white
In - Morris, King, Chaplin, Tuck
Before you hand Ellis a Brownlow medal for one decent game, try not to forget the previous four weeks when he was putrid. . The message that it's sends is you are not in our best 22 IMO.

putrid, he was sub for three of them for a combined total of 25 minutes :lol...perhaps watch the game rather than reruns of the voice in future :shh
Yes putrid!
And he played a quarter and a half against Collingwood, now I know the quarters in little league where you are probably starring every week are only 10 minutes young fella, but in the real world a quarter goes for about 30 minutes.. So your tally of 25 minutes combined  makes about as much sense as most of your posts.  :shh

id play anyone who can help us with delivery and decision making .
less panic merchants and poor kicks.  more footy smarts and good skills.  the question is do we have those type of replacements. i dont really think so.
we need to address the structure down back  they definately need another tall. and they need a shut down sml/med morris i suppose.
we need to address the way the forward line operates. no smalls the talls struggling and the lack of movement

people want helbig dropped after just one game.
i can understand it but i dont agree. yes he struggled and even looked out of his depth at times but lets give him a decent go at it give him another week or two lets see if he can adapt and get involved more.
do we hang draw and quarter every player who has a bad game or is it just the young ones we do it to.

imo against the big bodies of geelong we need big bodies. tuck, to return chaplin  down back. king as a sml forward and the presure he at least applies.
morris as a shut down med defender all four are a must imo.

Who do you drop to make way for those people. I think thats the only reason people say Helbig

people persist in Jacko to be dropped, wasting their time typing
his name in their lists of outs.

wont happen.

where was he in the last 2 minutes last night. wasnt he on Ballantyne? where the stuff was Jackson?

Houli was. Ballentyne got a little bit of space which is all he needed and the you know the rest. How the stuff does Jackson suddenly be the man playing on the guy who won them the game  :lol

Don't worry about it, lets try and get away with playing 23  ;D

In King, Morris, A Edwards, Chaplin

Out, Nahas, Jackson, White, Batchelor

Petterd goes forward for me.

Jackson & White have got to start making way for other players.  We will never move forward with these two in the side.

Very harsh on White, who almost won us the game not once but twice

Certainly offering alot more up forward defensively than Nahas

Thought Matty played his role very well on Friday
