Demons set to lose $1.5 million (afl site)
« on: May 12, 2013, 01:54:23 PM »
MELBOURNE has revealed it will lose more than $1.5 million this year as it adds legal fees, fines and expenses attached to a CEO change to the operating losses incurred following its disastrous start to the season.

Interim CEO Peter Jackson, who began in the job on May 1, told AFL.com.au that although the club could cover that shortfall the Demons needed to focus on its core business of football.

On the Sunday Footy Show, interim CEO Peter Jackson was interviewed by Barrett and he said no one respects the Melbourne Football Club anymore including its supporters and members  :o. A nice whack towards the whole club he's been sent in to fix up.

Did Jackson mention anything about the future of Neeld's tenure. The only way to win back respect from supporters and members is to win games.

Jackson is 100% correct

Someone needs to say it, they've got off very lightly scrutiny wise over the last 3-4 years now someone seems willing to give them the whacks they deserve. That is coming from the bloke the AFL has put in there makes it all the more enjoyable
