I address this to all posters.
I want us to win not narrowly but convincingly as some here have specified.
What I want internally is the  Richmond Football Club to put this ski squash polo and tennis club to the sword whilst at the same time maintaining focus and ensuring that the hit out on Sunday maintains our focus into Dreamtime and not as it did 4 weeks ago after we had a stroll against the Dogs and fell mentally and physically short against the Skunks.
Whilst winning by plenty to improve % is critical and will help to keep us in the 8 short term what will secure us in the 8 long term is winning games like Sunday followed up by beating teams above us on the ladder that hopefully others fighting for our place may not defeat.
Focus is the key. We all expect to beat Melbourne by plenty and it will happen, they may be competitive for a quarter or so but we all need to understand that this Sunday is just an entree main course is the next two games really and being 7-3 is far better than 5-5.
Focus will mean finals boys. :thumbsup

Reasons why we should sink the boots into the Melbourne FC when they are down and are the laughing stock of the AFL.

1993, R 6
MELB (22.21.153) def RICH (8.12.60).    93 points loss
1993, R 21
MELB (26.19.175) def RICH (8.6.54).       121 points loss

....And the first ever game that I left before the final siren. IIRC, we only had to lose this game by no less than 30 points to make the finals.
1998, R 22

MELB (19.19.133) def RICH (8.9.57).          76 points loss

This is enough reason to show no mercy on Sunday.
100+ point victory.

Totally agree. I remember those matches in 1993. Time to extract revenge.

It's our time for a 100+ victory and to grab a chunk more confidence for the 'Dreamtime' match.

Cotchin and Vickery look likely to return against the demons.

Quote

RICHMOND looks set to welcome back superstar captain Trent Cotchin and forward Ty Vickery for Sunday's clash with embattled Melbourne.

Cotchin missed last week's win against Port Adelaide with a knee complaint, but has been listed as "available" on the Tigers' injury list.

There were suggestions the Tigers would play it safe with their gun captain this week and hold Cotchin over until the Round 9 match against Essendon.

But Cotchin, a hot Brownlow Medal chance, looks certain to replace Shane Tuck.

Judging by Dimma's comments in his weekly dissection,  They are expecting the dees to come bursting out of the gate.
Im sure Dimma and the coaching staff will remind the boys not to get ahead of themselves before the game, its up to the players to go in for the kill.

It's that simple Spud
