From BF:
Very sloppy down back lots of turnovers.

Griffiths Derickx doing well in the ruck, but we are getting smashed out of the middle. Warren tearing us a new one.... Astbury getting plenty down back.

Arnot not playing for Coburg.

Elton is playing down back. Made a couple of blues.

Coburg finally get a goal (Griffiths now up forward). Trail by 50.

27 - 77

Coburg have at least stemmed the Werribee goal onslaught.

Goal to Coburg (Clifton). BF saying Elton now doing well in defence (4 contested marks).

Coburg      5.4-34
Werribee  12.6-78

18 mins Q2

Dark clouds approaching according to Werribee twitter.

Carnell makes it 3 in row but Werribee kick the next two in a row themselves to stop Coburg's run.

Coburg      7.4-46
Werribee  14.6-90

Repeat of the first qtr. Werribee kicked the first few, Coburg responded with a couple in a row before Werribee banged on a few more in time-on to blow out the margin again.

Half-time

Coburg      3.3     7.4-46
Werribee   9.3   15.6-96

Goals: McDonough 2, Clifton 2, Griffiths, McBean, Carnell

From BF:

Mcbean when given the chance looks lively
Elton strong strong hands.
Derickx doing well in the ruck
Lonergan is trying his heart out. Looks a little slow though.
Edwards very quite. 1 behind very few possessions.

Elton Astbury Griffiths McDonough Lonergan doing ok, McIntosh was given a touch up by Warren. The Coburg listed players just aren't good enough in the main to give us much support.
