Port should be far more ahead by now.  It's like they have 6 more players on the ground than us.

Haven't seen Arnot, Griffiths, Edwards, Nahas, Derickx at all.

Only seen Astbury, Dea, Darrou, Verrier, McIntosh, McBean, Stephenson, McDonough, Simon

WTF.  Everywhere that the ball goes, Port outnumber us 3:1.

I don't recall any games at Coburg where it's been said he stood out. There certainly hasn't been one for Richmond where he's done anything out of the ordinary. He was a decent junior footballer who missed a a lot of time with injury. Right now it looks like he's just a poo recruit. The only reason people rate him is because he can kick 60 metres and also move well for a tall fella. Other than that he's done FA and never has. I doubt anyone would be giving it to Tigermonk if he were still posting, he's been on the money with a lot of his comments over the years

This will come across as negative but it's the truth. He may still make a good AFL footballer but we haven't seen much

Where is Butcher at?
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

Astbury and McDonough have been our only good players.

Arnot, Griffs and Derickx (gave away a clumsy free that lead to Port's last goal) are out there.

Port 23

Coburg don't look like scoring.

Luckily that ball was half-smothered.  It would've gone straight to a Port Melbourne defender if it wasn't.  :lol

Poor efforts by helbig and Griffs there. Didn't attack the footy and waited for the Port players to grab possession.

Anyway we finally get a goal to Arnot.

Lucky the siren blew.

Coburg     1.0-6
Port Melb. 3.5-23

Goal: Arnot.

Embarrassing. Lucky Port wasted their chances. They should be 6-7 goals in front.

Possies:

Darrou 9 touches according to Ayres. He's playing full back mind you and getting those possies close to defensive goal.
Derickx 4
Griffiths, Astbury, Helbig, McDonough, Arnot 3 each.

Really only Astbury can hold his head up.

Inside 50s: 8 - 16 ...... looked worse than that. Mind you most of the kicks into Coburg's forward 50 went in when there were no Coburg forwards in sight and straight to 3 waiting Port defenders.
