Who wasn't on the line to shepherd the ball through for a goal? Dumb dumb footy ::)

Arnot kicks it into the man on the mark in the centre and the turnover gifts Port a goal.

Intensity has lifted this qtr but too many dumb basic schoolboy errors from Coburg.

Good tackle from Burger Abdallah on forward 50 and McBean dribbles through a goal.

Thought McBean had enough of that then to be paid the mark. His snap is for a point.

Arnot apart from two poor kicks has had a heap of it this qtr.

Port however go coast to coast to kick a goal.

Coburg actually get a centre clearance and Big O marks 45m out. Ball doesn't make the distance but Mcbean marks on the line. He gets his 2nd  :gotigers

McIntosh long out of the centre and Griffiths juggles the one-handed mark on the boundary. Pushes it across the face OOTF  :-\.

Coburg tried to turn it over at times in the backline but in the end it was a good passage of play from deep in defence to Nick Maric on the lead 35m out. Goal.

Dea showed courage going back with the flight but it was a poor attempt at the mark in defence. Results in a Port goal.

Although not that much in it at half time,i have to say I have never seen a side turn the ball over as much as Coburg did that half.it was almost keystone cops stuff.

Verrier looks a goer.... but he turns it over almost all the time!!

Good signs from the 3 newest draftees, Dea has been solid, as has Astbury.
And you may not think I care for you

Possies:

Arnot   11 ..... 8k 3h 6m 1g
McDonough 9 .... 6k 3h
Astbury 8  .... 8k
Helbig  8 ....... 7k 1h
Dea  7 ...........  6k 1h
Griffiths 6 ......  5k 1h
Mcbean  5 ....... 5k 2m 2g

Still making dumb decision making and poor skill errors (Port are too) but much better intensity in the midfield from Coburg that 2nd qtr. At least it was a competitive qtr.

Astbury is best for Coburg. Very solid game in defence.

McBean is the only Coburg tall forward who looks dangerous. If he had a midfield with good skills in front of him he would tear oppositions apart even now as a skinny beanpole.

Arnot was the busiest mid winning plenty of footy. Made two poor kicks though which is what he needs to get out of his game before pushing up to AFL level.

McDonough is one that looks like he has what it takes to make the jump to AFL level. Made a couple of poor turnovers today though.

Darrou doing okay in defence on a bigger forward opponent.

Big O has been beaten in the ruck today for mine. A bit better that qtr but needs to do more.

Dea - I don't see making it. Your heart is in your mouth everytime he has the ball. Likes to always play on after a mark without knowing what he is going to do with it next which often gets himself into trouble.

Griffiths - needs to do more. Had to kick at least one of the two shots.

Verrier - see wayne's comment.

McIntosh has hardly been sighted.

Simon - doing a lot of chasing but I don't remember if he's got a possession yet.

Forgot to mention Derickx because he's hardly been sighted. He won't been at Punt Rd in 2014.

Elton has been quiet as well.

I don't recall any games at Coburg where it's been said he stood out. There certainly hasn't been one for Richmond where he's done anything out of the ordinary. He was a decent junior footballer who missed a a lot of time with injury. Right now it looks like he's just a poo recruit. The only reason people rate him is because he can kick 60 metres and also move well for a tall fella. Other than that he's done FA and never has. I doubt anyone would be giving it to Tigermonk if he were still posting, he's been on the money with a lot of his comments over the years

This will come across as negative but it's the truth. He may still make a good AFL footballer but we haven't seen much

Where is Butcher at?

Dropped a U14s chest mark and shanked the follow-up.  3 touches and 1 mark with half time fast approaching.  :lol
