I'd turn over some of Dimmas assistants,just to freshen things up.The players I wouldn't play anymore are nahas,grigg,jacko(despite his herculean efforts ,his turnovers just kill us)
I have serious question marks on Dea,batch,griff,Elton
I also think big ivan needs to smarten up too,if he isn't injured as many say he is.
I also think pettard ,lonergan are gap fillers at best

Players 7, 12,21,23,24,26,32,39, 43 ( 9 players who shouldnt be there in 2014)

Questions marks  1(might retire ) 6 ( is scared) 11 ( needs to get fair dinkum, doesnt look fit enough) 27 ( needs to play before you can assess)
29  ( Trade )  35 ( Free agent ) 45 ( needs to have a big 2nd half )

Rookies, apart from 37, complete waste of oxygen

Agree with most of that, apart from Elton would like to see kept for one more year

The Coach needs to go.

Was interesting hearing BT say this morning that Essendon were allowing Jackson and Rance to have the footy cause they aren't great kicks.

Thats common in footy
Remember when Jobe Watson was a very poor kick many years ago.
Opposition players was basically  run away from him wanting him to kick and not handball

We have heaps of average kickers.
Ellis, Grigg, Dea, Edwards, Batchelor, McGuane, Rance, Tuck, Jackson, Nahas, Conca, Helbig, White and all these blokes have played senior footy this year.
Whilst some are young and would keep guys who have failed over and over again need to go but Alas they are first on the team sheet each week.

Although would give Helbig one more year since he had a serious injury and thought he looked likely before his injury.
Dea also could keep improving and take Newmans spot if he develops a bit further.
Astubury needs to play forward, can't defend. Kicked 3 goals in his first game and then we try and turn him into a defender. Go figure.
