I am flying over Monday morning, red-eye home Tuesday morning

Don't think I am brave, think I am bloody stupid to be honest

It's one of the disadvantages of booking footy trips when the draw comes out, no turning back  :'( :'(

Think of it this way WP, If by some miracle we get up for an upset win, you will be there to take it all in. Now come Monday, West Coast wouldn't have played for two weeks not taking into account the training drill against GWS, so they might be a little softer for the experience. I went to the game and GWS were just deplorable and West Coast were ordinary and should have won by 200 points.
We could surprise is all I'm saying. I hope that Plane ticket of yours turns into Willy Wonka's Golden Ticket! ;D

Surely someone from West Coast is having a milestone game, always seems to happen in a game we really need to win.

I've got to give you credit here WP. Willing to go all the way there with a big chance it'll be a fizzer by half time.
One thing I don't understand is why you wouldn't go on Friday and make a weekend out of it. If I was going that's what I would do. Very nice city is Perth.

Can't go over Friday have work commitments, have family commitment on Saturday.

Actually prefer flying in and flying out the same day. Do that for all interstate trips where possible. Only game it's not possible to fly in/out this year is Cairns

Sounds like your a busy guy WP. I'd prefer to relax and enjoy another city a little before I get back to the rat race that is Melbourne.

Certainly busy at work at the minute but the main reason I only go for the day is prefer coming home and being with the family; rather than being away from them  :thumbsup

I was extremely peeed off after the bombers game, but now that ive had a few days to think about it I realise it wasn't the end of the world.
We didn't bring our A game, we lacked defensive pressure, we lacked the ability to overcome our opponent, we chipped the ball around in order to maintain possesion but lacked the dare to go forward and take risks etc etc it goes on..
But so did Sydney when they got absolutely pants'd by the Hawks a few weeks ago, fast fwd a couple of weeks and they come back to the G and do to Collingwood what happened to them, much to the surprise of the media etc.
I still believe our best football is yet to come this year as most games bar the Port one we were avg, I also still think we are yet to find our best 22 for the season which is concerning but is also exciting as our draws opens up a lil after ther bye.
Lets worry about a 10 goal defeat if it happens, if not we may go shake em up and take 4 pts home  :gotigers
