Great qtr of football tiges :clapping as complete as I've seen from us. Ran hard both ways, bottled it up when under pressure, broke fwd into space hard and pressured the eagles as completely as I've seen from us. Tackling has been hard and strong consistently. No passengers that's what u want.

Has A Edwards had a crack?

Hasn't done anything but you can see his really trying hard. Is that good or bad though?

Great quarter of footy, wish we could do it all the time. However I think we all know the familiar script from here. The opposition get a spray at HT come out breathing fire and we stop doing the hard things and in a blink of an eye the lead is lost. We have to match their intensity at the start of the third otherwise its Freo revisited

We just need to keep that midfield pressure up for 2 more quarters, we still have Lonergan up our sleeve, if he can do one thing, it's tackle and apply pressure.

Almost the perfect quarter of footy.

Need a BIG KPF, but other than that, wow

Ps - Any chance McBean can put on 15kgs in the off season?

x2

Our best quarter in terms of standard, intensity, run and pressure since the 2nd qtr against Carlton in round 1.

Now unlike that game and a number this year, we've got to back it up in the 3rd qtr and 2nd half. Come out in the first 10 mins and go for the kill rather than sit back, come out half asleep and stupidly try to just hang on.
