If you want to enjoy this win even more, then head to the Eagles board on BF, Game Day thread, start at about page 9, then watch the meltdown.  ;D

That's great stuff!   :lol

Where is ramper?

Im here! Been a bit busy the last day anyway I believe we won but I didnt see the game on TV nor did I get to hear it on radio. Found out we won at about 1.30am when I got home. Today called a mate of mine also a Richmond supporter and he said we were outstanding. "Best Richmond Performance In Years" was the exact quote. As I said I havent seen it but I will during the week when I find out what times Fox Footy will play the replay. Did all our rejects from other clubs play well?

Houli and Chaplin played very well.
Maric provided a contest and even though he lost the hitouts he was a part of the reason our mids dominated (provided a lot of physical support).  He looked a lot more mobile than in previous weeks.
Lonergan was the sub but went ok when he came on in the mid 3rd quarter.
Edwards presented well, kept up good defensive pressure and worked well with Jack and Vickery.
Grigg got a bit of it but was probably one of our few beaten on the night.  He really does look to have been given a different role this year, more inside and accountable than when he was tearing it up on the outside last season.

Overall it was a pass mark for that clique but then again, we hardly had a passenger all over the ground.

Houli was average. His drop of the handball was criminal. He did some good things but he squibbed alot too. Will let us down if we play finals.

Lonergan is crap. Kicks out of bounce or to the other team.

Grigg does not go hard enough IMO.

I thought Houli was very good last night, sitting high in the stands at Subi, really enjoyed his run and carry but more than that his 1%ers, attack on the footy were the highlights for mine. had him in my top 3

I'm looking forward to watching the replay to see if these things showed up on the TV  ;D

Pretty much made one bad error and he did stuff up a handball where he poo himself. Other than that was very good. But some will just remember the 2 stuff ups.

How's this from a poor old weagles fan...

"Congratulations to Richmond though - they hammered us all over the ground, well played by them.

Reminds me of us in 2003 over Brisbane at the Gabba, when Judd kicked 5.

They are building very nicely for a premiership tilt in the next few years. "

And some more delicious rhetoric:

'The Richmond fans were great last night. I wish our team played with even a tiny proportion of the passion that they had.'

Not as good as the one claiming pre-game that he'd eat a poo if we beat them.  :lol

There was one going off his nut about the juggled mark on the siren that Darling took not being paid.  :lol

To their credit, quite a few Eagles posters let him know that it was definitely not a mark.
And you may not think I care for you
