I was lucky enough to waste an hour of my sunday night watching this show. There was one or two funny lines in the show but that would be pumping it up a little!!! :thumbsup

Nothing i would recommend.

Sketch comedy was killed off when tv was swamped with it in the early 90's just like the zillion reality shows now. Turned everyone off as it was done to death and the jokes/sketches were lame. They should have stopped at fast forward.

Put it this way, i found the first 5 minutes of My Big Fat Greek Wedding not only more entertaining, but funnier than that show!

More importantly MT,Australian comedy writers haven't got a clue.
Mad TV is a weekly thing here and Id give it an average score of 75% for funniness.Same with Sat nite live.
The writers not only work hard but are naturally funny, unlike the try-hards we have
who all seem too frightened to work with anyone funnier than them.

The fact that Dave Hughes is getting work is a big sign that u just need to kiss some ars to get a gig.

It phucken infuriates me

- Colon Carpenter
- The Comedy Club
- Let the Blood Run Free
- Full Frontal
- All Together Now
- Funniest Home Videos
- The Panel
- The Doug Mulray Show

Axe falls on comedy flop

CHANNEL 7 yesterday axed its Sunday night comedy show Let Loose Live after just two weeks.

The show opened with a disappointing 955,000 nationally, dropping to a disastrous 650,000 last Sunday.
Seven's programming head Tim Worner conceded the show did not connect with viewers despite strong promotion and a well-known team.

"The team had a good crack at two of the most challenging aspects of television: comedy and live," he said.

"Sadly, the program was not a success. We have taken the decision to cop it on the chin and move forward."

Producer Stephen Luby said everyone was disappointed.
