Reckon you are onto something daniel

Brennan is the perfect example of a waste of talent.

He had such natural talent and ability but he never played like he had the want or commitment to match the ability.

Irishman Niall McKeever was among four players cut by the Brisbane Lions on Monday as the club prepares for the NAB AFL Draft.

Rookies Callum Bartlett, Stephen Wrigley and Richard Newell were also delisted following the Lions' post-season review.

Hard nut midfielder Matt Thomas has been delisted by Port Adelaide, along with key forwards Daniel Stewart and Nick Salter as well as defender Nathan Blee.

They are four of seven changes to the club's squad, with rookies Justin Hoskin, Darren Pfeiffer and John Butcher's brother Danny also delisted.

Brett Ebert announced his retirement earlier in the season.

Jeremy Laidler has gone from Carlton.

Source: His twitter account.

Also on the AFL web-site

Carlton have cut 8 players so far including former Tiger Andy Collins
==============================================

JEREMY Laidler is seeking a new club after battling to get a senior game under Blues coach Mick Malthouse.

Laidler played just one game for the Blues under Malthouse, appearing in round two against Collingwood. He did not make it back into the senior team......

.....The club's football operations manager Andrew McKay said Laidler had made it clear what he wanted to do when he met with the club post-season.

"In Jeremy’s meeting he expressed that he would like to look for an opportunity at another club and we respect and support his decision to do so," McKay said.

Carlton also announced eight list changes on Tuesday.

It delisted Luke Mitchell, Patrick McCarthy, Marcus Davies and Aaron Joseph, while rookies Rhys O’Keefe, Fraser Dale and Andrew Collins will also depart."
