Was Dan Jackson centring?
« on: June 22, 2013, 10:27:24 PM »
Question?

Your opinion?

Was Dan trying to centre his miraculous goal or did he shank it beautifully?

Just like the one he kicked against the Hawks last year??

Of course he was, it's his set play
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

Went for this one, unlike the one in last year's Dreamtime when he admitted to just centering it  :lol

Jacko had another very good game tonight. He is very adroit by hand, foot and mind at the moment.

I thought Grigg taking the ball from half back/wing with 4 bounces was up there too.
If anything it was better.
How about Cotch in the last. Made Boyd look like a dill and then when he snagged it like a second rate suburban footballer. Oozed class.

That's the type of goals we used to concede.
Feels great dishing out these types of goals. :thumbsup

Changed his hand position for the ball drop - definately not centreing it.

Just thought he might be trying to run it along the ground.  ;D

Says a lot that we're having this discussion, if it was Daicos or Aker we wouldn't be blinking.

Everytime Jackson kicks a freakish goal we win. He kicked a freakish goal against Hawks last year we won and he did one earlier this year we won.

By the time he made up his mind on what to do he had no other option
