May be true for the ones that struggle up forward or aren't natural forwards.
Don't think Lockett or Dunstall ever played defense.

I know Carey used to play wing before moving forward as did Ablett snr.
So maybe they should be playing on the wing.

Lockett and dunstall were too fat and lazy to play defence.

...but when you are that good out of the goal square no-one gives a flick.

If north had a established CHF when carey started playing he would have controlled games from CHB instead.
