The Next Two
« on: June 30, 2013, 07:23:16 PM »
I have been waiting all year for these next two rounds, dependent of course on ho we were travelling.

Well we are travelling brilliantly, now.......the next two are for mine the most important. We have lost against sides we were, well, "expected" to lose against but we also could of beaten those sides.

North and the Suns are our bogey sides, North since after 95 (they have the wood) and the Suns for the past two years or since their inception.

For me the true character of our club will come in the next two weeks, we can't afford to let these two games slip, these are both sides that can beat us....mentally which will translate to a win on the field. While North will not have Thomas the headbutter, make no mistake they can still win. The Suns, well anything could happen.

Tiges, show us this brilliant football you have been playing.... :gotigers

I'm worried about the next two because it's tough winning 6 in a row. But if we're truly a good side we should have no worries  :cheers

Just hoping we can win them so the pressure won't be as intense if we struggle against Hawks, Sydney and Freo all genuine GF prospects. If we can scalp one then round 23 against Essendon could really come down to a top 4 play off  :cheers

I think Richmond will beat them both. North will be hard but I back our boys for that one. Our midfield is better IMO but their forward line and back line match up well on us.

I agree Chucky!

Could call them 24 point games!

Even if we win the next couple , Richmond will still probably sit 6th on the ladder.

However most likely we will be 4 games clear of 8th with only 7 games remaining.

Or was it when we dropped games against the Pies, Bombers, Freo and the Cats...because we failed those tests. The test here is to beat our bogey sides that we have failed against in the past, as indicated in the first post. After this test it will be to beat teams above us another test we have to date failed..there's your help.  ;D
