North and the Suns are our bogey sides, North since after 95 (they have the wood) and the Suns for the past two years or since their inception.
How do you figure North are a bogey side for us ?  I'd say Geelong have the wood on us and Collingwood probably. St.Kilda and The Bulldogs did too but we've smashed those hoodoos.
Here's our recent record against North >>

2009 - 36pt win
2009 - draw
2010 - 50pt loss
2011 - 9pt win
2011 - 13pt loss
2012 - 4pt loss

Norf are looking at some motivation for this one.

The bootstudders 10,000th boot? Might get 'em up & going for this match.

The Freo game is the big one for mine. If we can't beat them at the G, then we will just be making up the numbers come September.

Most of us would have been happy to finish 8th this season and see further improvement. IMHO we dont have to win a final to say we had a good season, all we have to do is at least be competitive. If we are competitive but we go out early then we know our improvement is franked and real.

You may well be right and we're gonna get them at full strength too. Sandi Monster will be back along with Pavlich , Barlow and Mundy.
 We'll beat 'em though

The day Frawley walked past them at 3 qtr time when score were nearly level and said "to old, to slow".......they have had the wood on us, cant remember the year but get your stats from then!

I just showed you the stats. In the past 4 years we've played them six times. We've won two , drawn one and lost three.
I'm sorry but that doesn't equate to them having any sort of wood on us

So true. If we win a final it's a bonus. Making it and not losing like Norf or the Bummers is a big leap in improvement.

Having said that I reckon the Bummers would kill for a 90-100 point flogging first week rather than watching on.  :shh

I don't think we're the type of club that would make finals and not do anything. We get there and we'll do some damage especially in melbourne

That's a snap shot, go back further. Get the points we were beaten by too.
