We need a Jack Gunston. Geez almighty if only we had a small forward capable of his conversion....
gunston is a tall geez 193cm means if he can add size he will eventually play kpp. hes hawthorns much better version of a edwards

i love their forward set up
franklin roughead and gunston the leading third tall. with  bruest rioli  sniffing the packs and applying pressure. now theres some real quality and its what we need to aim at.

I stand corrected. I didn't realise he's so tall. My eyes are playing tricks on me (i'm partially blind) because he's 20kg lighter than Franklin. As their '3rd forward' I still dig his conversion. I just can't get over how accurate he is at set shots

The thing with accurate goal kicker is, once you put them in a situation of constant pressure, over a career as such, they fold.

Who is the statistically most accurate forward in the games history?
Caracella and Balmey.

Well isn't that just a massive load of horse poo, ox. Someone should tell recruiters not to look for blokes who can kick. I think we've been doing that for 30 years anyway

I thought that we left an easy 5 out there today from our 12 behinds. We need to kick these to be a real contender! :thumbsup

Dusty missed a few easy ones early on that could have made the day a little more comfortable.
Sometimes he should just put boot to ball instinctively rather than they to over analyse a situation and kick on the foot that is not favoured by that play at that given point. The one he missed in the square could be costly on another day.

Dusty should have been at least 3.2, or better on a good day.

Had me pulling my hair out. Even King hasn't been accurate despite a good start to the season.

Pet hate = losing games despite having more shots than the opposition and so called professional footballers missing so many gettable shots at goal  :banghead.

Seven times hit the post  :help.
Kicked 6.2 from inside 30 metres but 3.11 from outside this range.

Poor set shots lost us the game. We beat them in every area accept this crucial one. Infuriating.

Very, very poor. Obviously cost us the win and hopefully NOT finals  :pray

Have to stop playing safe to the boundary line and having shots from the pockets/boundary.

That is low percentage football!

Griffiths, Martin, Cotchin missing from easier angles just kills the momentum.

many of the misses had negligible angle, so thats not the issue.

if you notice how sides set up their defence and how often the ball is turned over when kicked long and central you understand why sides go to the pockets unless they have good offerings in the corridor.

was really noticeable against freo
