Vickery doesn't have that kind of currency, seriously...

And as for Houli, I'd be hanging onto him for sure.

vickery for pick 1.
pick 12 for adams  throw in a steak knife like white king or shane edwards to get the deal done.

week in week out you bang on about how poor a player vickery is and now you expect to do a deal with him to land us pick 1?
week in week out i have banged on about how much people have over rated his performances. ive never said he doesnt have talent or cant improve.
he currently has plenty of value but if he continues to stagnate in two yrs time we wont be able to give him away.

look at it this way
top 10 pick who is highly thought of in the media and by the club. a 200cm forward/ruck who is only 23 just got 80 odd games behind him and is about to enter his prime. hes at a stage where he should be able to offer gws something straight away and hes young enough to be long term. of course it would all depend on how much upside they think he has. i think he has little most others think he has heaps.

if that didnt sell ya all i can say one is aloud to dream isnt one.even i can be optimistic about some things. id cut my own dick off to get pick 1.

theres an old saying one mans trash is another mans treasure just ask adelaide they gave up pick 27 at the time for tambling.we got rid of him just before he totally ran out value.

Offer them Houli for a direct swap, they will be looking for ready made players not draft picks. If you want quality you have to give up quality.
Ridiculous, possibly our best player in the final series, I'd be quite prepared to put up griff or batch. And don't come at me they are reserve players FFS our defense had more credits than the cast in Ben Hur , we can't play everyone.
Batch and R 2-3 pick, job done  :shh

Final series? We played 1 game bj17 and Houli's brain fade in the 3rd when he should have kept running and had a shot was a momentum killer. Up until that point yep; he'd been good from that point he was average

Houli had a good year but last Sunday was not his finest game of the year

Don't think it was a brain fade, players were trying to do the team thing all day. And look for options rather than take it upon themselves to have a ping from 50. Hopefully lesson learnt, in finals someone needs to step and say, 'get around me'  ;D

Amongst best in our team isn't hard considering he was probably ~30th best on the day

Yep funniest thing I have heard in a long time, if they had been reading Claws posts throughout the year they would be expecting us to pay to take him off our hands

From Tiger71 on BF:

"Ok just got off the phone with my mail and I can clarify my previous post about " Experienced player". Now all of this can change as the trade period has not even started yet but hey, keeps us talking and would love to see how all would feel if this happens.

Adams wants the Tigers. Tigers want Adams. GWS have already begun EARLY discussions letting us know that Adams would prefer us and what we could offer. GWS do not want Adams to declare he wants to go to the tigers as that will harm GWS in other deals/trades with other clubs. Adams has agreed but im sure that will change if we cant get the deal done early.

GWS have ASKED ONLY if we would be open to trade one of our experienced players in Foley,Grigg,Jackson, and Morris mould. Now as to what make up, what picks etc ... WAY to EARLY to call but regardless I bet my nuts ADAMS will be a Tiger next year. If we allow one of our leaders go."

Grigg has just re-signed, so unless he wants out, he can't be traded.

Jackson or Foley for Adams, yes please.
And you may not think I care for you

Both Jackson & Foley re-signed a few months ago as well

So they are i the same boat as Grigg

Keep Morris. The other three, well I'd be sad to lose Jackson or Foley, good servants.

Grigg would be my preference. Then Foley, then Jackson.

Can't we offer them Titch?
