It's going to be a tough B&F to predict. My top 5 would be Dusty, Jacko, Rance, Ellis and Houli. Jack, Cotch, Chaplin, Lids and Conca making up the top 10.

Jack, Cotch, Chaplin > Houli IMO

Can Trent Cotchin complete a Jack Dyer Medal hat-trick? No Dusty is my choice. For the cynical help him to sign up if he hasn't.

Will Brett Deledio become a triple Jack Dyer Medallist? As I said Dusty.

Could Daniel Jackson cap the finest season of his 10-year career at Tigerland by capturing his first Jack Dyer Medal? No

Is Dustin Martin in line for an inaugural Jack Dyer Medal win? No

Or, will it be another Tiger hero, who bobs up to take ‘Jack’ home this year? No

Top 5

1. Dusty
2. Lids
3. Jako
4. Ellis
5. Rance

The Herald-Sun's top 5 for our B&F in no particular order ...

Trent Cotchin
Daniel Jackson
Brett Deledio
Dustin Martin
Alex Rance

Can Daniel Jackson beat superstars Cotchin and Deledio to win his first Jack Dyer Medal? He was certainly more consistent. It appears a race in three with Cotch aiming for his third straight B&F and Deledio eyeing a third of his own after going back-to-back in 2008-09. Martin had a super season while defenders Chaplin and Rance could easily make the top five.

If Houli finishes top 3 B&F I'll go follow another sport. He'd be warm favorite for 'least courageous' if they gave that award out. Dimma does enjoy the weekly meal Bachar's family drops over to him tho so you're might be right . He might get a few votes for that.

My view is Chaplin will finish above Morris. Morris has had a good year and deserves to be in top ten.
