Not really good enough in the end, players and coach need to find out what went wrong, cant do the same next week against the Blues and we cant play finals footy like that either..

i will tell u whats wrong

nahas foley and sadly tuck are all no good
90% of whatever they did was a total stuff up

nahas and foley in the 3rd qtr did everything they could to kill us

mguane cant play 4 qtrs

tuck looks lost

cotchins kicking is becoming a worry as is jacks sets shots from straight out

that pretty much sums it up, I still dont understand why they gave Nahas another chance. The donut could have had a game today. Anyway the team got the 4 points but the way they did it in the 2nd half was very average.

Said to MT at halftime even though we were 7goals I didn't think we had played well, just looked flat.

2nd half was terrible, Brissie changed their game style, we isn't and it almost cost us

Good news I'd we won, have hit the magic number, we play finals.  :woohoo

Though play like we did today we will play 1 final and that will be that  ;D

...add Vlaustin and Ellis to that as they tried hard all day. Message to Dimma.......you won't win a final with the likes of Nahas, McGuane and Tuck in the  one side so why bother....find others when any nominal 22 player's are out of the side. But I really liked Vickery's game today.....

yep I agree on Nahas McGuane and Tuck - kids like McDonough, McBean should get a chance if theres a place in the team. Grimes, S.Edwards and King also to come back.

Thought Tucky was really exposed today in the lack of pace stakes. Granted hes never been quick but gee the Lions exploited it today by switching play through him

Sorry but it is still mathematically possible to not make the finals.

what was wrong with Mr Magoos game today?

Some of you you blokes just rag on players based on pre-conceived perceptions rather than what is happening.

Mcguane has his limitations and may not be part of the future, but he's done his job in the last 2 weeks. once again he set the tone early and it aint his fault the team went into their comfort zone after half time.
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways my ways,” says the Lord.

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are my ways higher than your ways,
And my thoughts than your thoughts."

True...

But magic number now reached, wasn't just my magic number either  :)

And....

N0rt cannot pass us they've won 8 games, four games to go they win 4 they record 12 wins = cannot pass us

Carlton can hit 13 wins if they win today and win their remaining games after that but we have a superior % which basically equates to another game. They are currently getting beaten by the dogs.

If we'd scored 7 more points we'd be ahead of Collingwood. Pain in the butt. Need to put these teams to the sword. No relaxed wins please.
