Was thinking about what our side needs to take the next step for next season and it's mostly one of everything. Developing ruck, inside mid, key defender and a speedy small forward/wing. What I think we should go for is:
Trade Reece Conca for Scott Lycett. This is for if Conca is wanting to go back home to Perth. Lycett as a straight swap I see as a win for us. We can look to bring in Adams and Garlett to cover him, and get a good developing ruckman in Lycett.
Get Taylor Adams as a tough inside mid, and he is still a 19 year old kid, would be a great get alongside cotchin, deledio, martin, ellis, and vlastuin.
Get Tayte Pears as a key defender, 23 years old and would be 3rd or 4th defender behind rance, grimes, chaplin.
Sign Dayle Garlett as a speedy indigenous player with the ability to run the wings and half forward. Genuinely quick.
