Spud
« on: August 18, 2013, 07:14:57 PM »
I know it doesnt matter now but anybody else ever wonder how Danny Frawley ever got a coaching gig? Let alone with our great club. What the stuff must have we been thinking? He is just a massive bogan with limited footy nous. Listening to him commentate is like listening to an amature. He just agrees with anybody else he is commenting with. And doesn't mind sticking the boots into the Tigers when he gets a chance.
His nickname Spud is spot on!!

IIRC no one wanted to coach Richmond given the basket case we were along with our poor reputation for sacking coaches.
So we got someone desperate to coach an AFL team and he was "cherry ripe" to take the gig
It's that simple Spud
"I discussed (it) with my three daughters, my wife and my 82-year-old mum, because it has really affected me … If those comments … were made about one of my daughters, it would make the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. I would not have liked it at all.”

He is not a genius is he?  Nice enough guy but you really do wonder how he got the job.
