Spent all morning trying to get online. Used the phone and got on but then got timed out trying to register!
I had two seats initially then lost them.  Then I had one seat and lost that! (Both Category 1).
By the time I was able to log back on only category 5 seats were left.
I was ready to slash my wrists.
Daughter is MCC so I got on at midday and got two tickets in the forward pocket Level 1 at the city end.  Thank God for the MCC!

I was so disillusioned with the ticketek experience I was ready to give up and stay at home.

Terrible, terrible experience and as a MRC member I think we should be given even higher priority!  Disgraceful.

OER. Calling it as it is since 2004.

Got to work early to get some work done so I could take some time to log on and get tix. Get to 9am was on Ticketek, AFL &RFC websites to try ang get on. Manage to do so and had category 2 tix in n57, but unfortunately Internet at work is skata timed out only for a major malakies for one of our software systems that needed my help and a quick scrum with our department manager which took me to 10:15 especially when this could have been wrapped up a good half hour earlier except for the cow who kept asking me the same line of questions because its her way of trying to seem intelligent. Fortunantely my manager knew what I was upto and I was allowed to escape and things were agreed to reconvene in the afternoon. Nevertheless not happy.

Go tix in the end but so peed off. All's well that ends well.

Logged on after my in unscheduled interruption and got category 3 seats in the Richmond section top deck of the Olympic Stand in Q52 but at least it is row A. So at least the view is good is good from there and will be unimpeded for a Tiger victory. My reserved seats are in N53 so it is a shame I didn't get level 2 but at least it is there.

Looks like Olympic Stand and Southern Stand Punt Rd end is mostly Tiger Territory this Sunday.
Time to make some noise and Rumble In The Jungle. :thumbsup

Understand your frustration, welcome to my Coterie world  ;D

Think you need to read the fine print, MRC members only guaranteed GF tickets, nothing more. Wording changed this year, as it did for 3121 members

As I said earlier today, I pay extra $$$ to be in a coterie which was sold in part on the basis that I'd be guaranteed tickets to all RFC finals, found a fortnight ago that the Club in weeks 1-3 of finals cannot guarantee it.

Sadly no one gets priority in weeks 1-3

Agree not good enough but that's the way it is

I joined 3121 on that basis in 2010 but things change over time such as clubs fortunes.
Can't do much about it but heaven help the RFC if those of us promised GF tix through our memberships and we can't have them for one reason or another. Bad PR from the club. :-\

Even the 2014 membership campaign are banging on about buying the 2014 membership and getting "guaranteed finals tickets"

GF tickets are guaranteed what's not guaranteed is finals tickets for weeks 1-3

Not trying to be a smart you know whatskis but again read the fine print. For standard memberships they "guarantee access to purchase finals tickets".

Which isn't guaranteed tickets just the ability to have access to buy before the general public like we had today between 9am and 1pm

 Fair enough

Actually felt for those who signed to the deal they had over the last few weeks, you know sign up for 2014 and get the remainder of 2013 free. Those folks couldn't access tickets until 11am today. That seemed strange

It wasn't all the clubs fault.  It was ticketeks too. Their phone registration had a bug in it which I noticed was fixed later in the day while their online webpage was difficult to get up. Where the club stuffed up is I have four reserved seats under four different names. The club emailed me 4 different barcodes but all had the same name on them, mine.  So I had no idea which were the adult ones and which were the juniors. The first barcode number I put on just happened to be the junior one which stuffed me up.  By the time I got back onto ticketek I was behind the eight ball and onto the roller coaster ride of time outs, unable to get on etc etc.

Always have to read the fine print ey. Remember signs everywhere "Everything for 10 dollars" $40 dollars was suddenly $200 and something ::). Apparently it was only the stuff under the signs ::)

Not really strange. They aren't really 2013 members like everyone else. I'd be peeed if one of them got a ticket over myself or any other person who paid for this year.

On that basis they should do yellow & black first hour, platinum second and so on. The diehards that were there through thick and thin deserve to be there!
Yes they do!

Understand your thinking but I would have thought Coterie's first in order of level and then the rest. Only because I reckon someone hands out $25k a year (Jacks Club) then they should get first dibs on tickets

Eg Jack's Club, Legends, Executive, Inner Sanctum, 3121, MRC, T&B, Platinum etc

Biggest problem they (ticketek) had yesterday was they were selling tickets to 3 games from the one agency, hence why the online and outlet problems

Game at Skilled was sold through Ticketmaster and they had no problems

The 1st finals game to sell out in 12 years, tix are 2/3rds Tiges.
"The money might have been better. But, at the end of the day, Richmond showed faith in me. It's only fair that now we're 18th on the ladder, I show the faith back in the club and do everything I can to put them in front. In the end, I'm stoked I made the decision to stay. I f***ing love this club”
