Apparently Jon Ralph is claiming GWS is thinking of trading Patton (with his ACL) and using their pick 1 on Boyd.

Melbourne is interested in dumped Bulldogs Daniel Cross.

Mother of god has cramers ever kicked more than 25 goals a year,is it any  wonder jack held out. If that waste of space is worth 450 a year,  jack is worth 1.4 :shh

Yes, he has done it 3 years in a row despite not playing a full season in any of those years.

Just got off the phone and, look, all I can say is Caddy is going to north.

End of story clowns.

You really need to move on.

with the surplus of quality defenders that couldn't crack it for a game in our dream team defence, wouldn't surprise me at all if we could craft a deal featuring any 1 of griff, batch or astbury + nahas for patton. Love to see someone top that :shh...always rememeber theres no shame in failing to break into a team that wins 15 games, these blokes would be a walk up to a team that won 1 game,  :clapping

According to an Eagles fan on the BF main board:

"Heard late night on SEN last night that West Coast are looking seriously at trading their number 6 pick (or first pick), Gaff and exchanges of picks seeing Richmond getting WCE second and third round to Richmond in exchange for Conca and Martin."

So they want to trade us pick 6, Gaff, as well as their second and third round picks for Conca and Martin?

No deal IMO. Players with currency like that need to be traded for players that we actually need EG Josh Kennedy/Jack Darling. Or Naitanui.

as if that would be anything other than a far fetched out of the clacker proposition put together by a wc fan...same as us offering pick R2/3 + shane Edwards for nicnat and selwood

OK lets start the ball rolling, we want Adams and possibly Longer what or who do we trade to get the deal done?
No dumb deals please, genuine suggestions' only.
e.g. Houli for Adams. (Quality for Quality)

Conca to Eagles

Eagles first Pick to Tigers

Tigers on trade for Adams

We gain Adams and keep our first pick

I ubderstand the whole quality for quality arguement, but considering we finished half a game outside the top 4, I dont think trading a top 10 player (houli) for Adams. Unless Adams can be guaranteed a top 5 player by year 2 - I dont see how it helps our tilt for a premiership.

I get the feeling that a direct swap to GWS for Adams will be unlikely. GWS want experience and there would be very few players that we would be willing to trade. Maybe Foley. But its a small negotiation frame as far I am concerned, will have to require a third club.
