Foley will be back to his best next year you'd think.

And his best is very good.

Just out of touch from some serious injuries.

That's been the case for 5 years. How did he get a 3 year deal? That's Graig Cameron type stuff. His form hasn't warranted a 3 year deal since 07/08.

Had Lycett in my Dream Team for the second half of the year and the kid can play. 81 hit outs in 7 games isn't too shabby playing with Nic Nat and Cox.

I agree. I'd have left him until the end of the year then offered him 1-2. Surprised me.

It's that simple Spud
"I discussed (it) with my three daughters, my wife and my 82-year-old mum, because it has really affected me … If those comments … were made about one of my daughters, it would make the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. I would not have liked it at all.”

does anyone know Foley's contract status?

Hope he is part of negotiations with GWS.

the time has come while he has value

Re-signed mid year daniel for 3 years

Think itis fair to say he isn't going anywhere

cant see how the club can give Foley 3 years. what were they thinking. He got better treatment than Tuck who gave 100% & we got more out of him. l want to see the end of Foley & Shane Edwards

The Tigers are also interested in securing a back-up ruckman for Ivan Maric.

Source: Herald-Sun

Talking about stating the obvious  ;D

Just a question to fellow OERites - any interest in Jeremy Laidler? Strong body defender?
really like him as a player.

have stated on other sites geet him down to the club have a good look at him make sure the knee is right make sure his agility and pace will get back to where it was. if he ticks these boxes theres every chance he will get back to 2011 form. if he can back to his best hes an automatic upgrade on grimes.

his history is interesting in the fact he found it hard to get a game at geelong. taylor scarlett harley milburn lonergan mackie all kept him out. he played damn good footy in the magoos and just needed a chance to plat at the top level.
he got that chance in 2011 and he absolutely killed it. unfortunately for him injury struck early 2012 and hes struggled since.

with that as background  id be more than happy for us to have a good look at him. you just have to be impressed with what he produced in 2011.

here here

RFC are so blind they can't see those 2 should be on the trade table while they have value

Edwards can play 1 position and even that is debatable

Even if Dusty stays I would offer he and our first pick for Adams

That will trump the pies

ESSENDON has emerged as a potential new club for St Kilda midfielder Nick Dal Santo

Pricked the Bombers interest?

Would be a sharp addition  :thumbsup
What an injection of talent to the middle.

Would add to their midfield chemistry.
But with where their list is at the moment can they really afford such an experiment?
