From the Herald-Sun....

President Gary March will step down at the club’s best and fairest dinner on September 30 after eight years in the job.

Directors Malcolm Speed and Maurice O’Shannassy head the field of replacement candidates with a board vote to determine the next president.

A new director will also be selected to fill March’s vacancy on the nine-person board.

Richmond’s return to the finals, record membership and soaring attendance figures this season will see the club record a profit of about $3 million.

Redevelopment works will continue at the club’s Punt Rd headquarters over summer in preparation for the playing of VFL matches at the ground next year.

The Tigers will field a stand-alone reserves side in 2014 after partings ways with their VFL affiliate team, Coburg.

A Richmond subcommittee is also exploring new revenue opportunities, including property investments and po-kies ventures.
