When will it be our turn for the Flag?
« on: September 28, 2013, 08:40:23 PM »
Ok, maybe the 17 beers consumed this arvo (more than likely) and the fact that I am saving myself for a Grand Final experience.

But when do you think we will be the team and are we heading in the right direction?

I think we are!!!!!!  :gotigers

 :cheers

Two years at least. We made finals this year on the back of a soft draw yet we defeated both grand  finalists. Losing the first final was a reality check, we have quite a bit of maturing to do.

4712 years from now there will be no god, no Geez Geez .. all will hail Richo

At least he existed .. seems as good a reason as any

So yeah, its a fair while away by my calculations

Maybe its the 9 VB cans and 7 jimmy cans talking

Need to win 1 final first, then a second, and then a third.

Oh and all in the same series ....

Not even close to being a big game finals hardened outfit yet, long way to go.

As Hawthorn showed in 2008, the Crows in 97,etc anything can happen.
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

and how do we keep our middle tier players if we pay a small number of players excessive amounts and run out of salary cap space?

And when the AFL rules stipulate that you must take a certain number of players at each national draft?

Well we have done it before. Actually we have always done it.
And that is why we have been 33 years without a flag.
