Chaplin became more of a man on man defender from about halfway through the season when it was obvious it was ridiculous seeing Rance get hammered by Cloke while Chaps was playing loose. think the penny dropped and saw him standing big fwds plenty in the run home. Talking too much poo coach, lotta hate

No hate, just dealing in facts. You didn't answer my question(s). Were you expecting a monster full back like everyone else on here? And name me the top forwards that he has beaten. It's not that hard. Well, it is actually....:lol
And before someone else has a crack, I'll say it again. I was more than content with his recruitment and I have said he improves the backline, but that's not the question at hand  ;D

You blokes should be on your knees. It's clear my description of him from well before he was recruited is absolutely spot on.

Here's to the Coach :cheers 3 cheers for Coach!

Let's go Coach!

Regards,
Coach

I agree with Coach.
The comments he played man on man later in the year are rubbish. Don't know how many times the commentators would say Chappy was just setting up in space and you could see it at the games too. Got destroyed by Tippet

Are you done?  ;D

You didn't ask me any questions, but for the record, I expected him to rotate on the big fwds and was hoping he wasn't going to play solely as a loose man. We have others who should do that. Just bc someone plays a particular role at another club doesn't mean that cannot be earmarked to change elsewhere.

I don't care what you and other ignorant posters say, I know what I saw -  the penny dropped for the coaching staff after the pies game where poor rance was isolated on Cloke and torn a new one whilst chappy was running around playing loose man. In the second half of the season he has stood Roughead, Tippett, rotated on and off pavlich/Clarke against freo and petrie against North. He has also played loose at times bc hes good at it and he wasn't need structurally in some games like GWS, GC, Essendon, so don't give me this BS that he doesn't play man on man.

Im sorry, but your post is FOS.  You slag off my POV as garbage and then go ahead in the same post and admit he has played on a key fwd in tippet.  ::)

Wow, you mad bro? Now I know how Chucky feels. I'd give him rep. If I didn't ask any questions then why did you reply to my post with a bunch irrelevant points? Where have I said he hasn't played on anyone? I asked if you thought he was a monster full back and asked of top forwards he has beaten. Wow the hostility, this is unreal. Never said the guy couldn't play the game, he can. Just highly overrated by some

You're arguing against yourself. I never said he wasn't good at playing loose or that he doesn't occasionally play on an opponent. I've said as much in previous posts. Now get on your knees and....

The Coach

he's an ok player and the only people who rate him are those who rate whimps that play as loose man. Are you a Nick Maxwell fan by chance?

JasonCloke.com/NickMaxwell

You never said it, just implied it

Pretty simple, I replied to the above insinuation, saying I thought that was crap and somehow that's me making irrelevant points.

My post was before you elaborated that he would switch up, your first one sounded like you meant he played soley as a KPD after pies game.
