Excellent appointment, has jumped on the tigers when they were at the lowest and bogged in, has excellent credentials and both Speed and O'shannasy have her back, unites the board, keeps us strong and on song.

Had her pegged as a president type from Day 1. I'm almost looking forward to the thoughts of the mysognists on the board but for the fact that their comments wouldn't be intended as humour.

Presume you're talking about the posters on this board since a majority at least of the club's board must have voted her into the job.

Er, obviously.!
It's that simple Spud
"I discussed (it) with my three daughters, my wife and my 82-year-old mum, because it has really affected me … If those comments … were made about one of my daughters, it would make the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. I would not have liked it at all.”

To be honest her CV aint that impressive. Diploma from Melbourne, studied in the USA.

Financial services background, which has had its problems over the journey.

Cant remember seeing her in Cairns or Adelaide the last few years like the others, but im sure WP will tell me different.

Yeah look personally im not a fan and would've preferred one of the other men, but I sincerely hope she proves me wrong.

Currently a member of the Roupies, and employed by the great man Roup.

A female president and a lawyer to boot. . Ring a ding ding.   ::)

Lets hope she's better than our last female premier and/or prime minister.

And most of all I hope this doesn't mean our team will continue to play like Sheila's. I want to see some real mongrel coming from her let the boys know they will be playing in skirts if they lose to the scum again.
The club that keeps giving.

Congratulations to Peggy. I think she will do a great job - as long as the board backs her and I think they will. Overall RFC creates history, the AFL will love this and we will probably get rewarded down the track. The new president is also a serious professional, I think she'll do great.  :clapping
