What the Tigers will hope to benefit from this week is the return from injury of playmaker Brett Deledio and key defender Alex Rance.
Deledio, recovering from an Achilles issue, has been a frustrated onlooker since last playing in the win over Carlton in round two.
"It is tough. From the stands, you see every option the boys should be taking but I have been out there myself, I understand how hard it is. You just want to be able to help. Hopefully, I can do that this week," he said.
Deledio will need to prove he can train and recover without pain if he is to play.
"It wasn't healing as well as I would have liked. It took a lot of work, a lot of strength work to get it back but now I can run and not pull up sore. Touch wood, I will be out there again on Sunday," he said.
Rance (foot) said he could have taken to the field against the Hawks.
"It's all good. I was probably line ball to play on the weekend but it was the doc's call and it just didn't go my way," he said.
Maric (ankle) is listed at still being a fortnight away from resuming, while Nathan Foley (calf) faces a fitness test.
