]sounds like an excuse. Also sounds like they were at a different game. It was cold and windy and little humidity.  :lol

No, they were there and they aren't the only people who were at the game who thought the conditions were "heavy". Big discussion at the airport today about it  :) ;D
i was there too. Just excuse making. The humidity was like 30% and you couldn't notice it. It was also cold. We were just poo. Utterly pathetic.

Yes it might hold some merit if:

It wasn't still only March and it's humid everystuffingwhere.

It's only round one and they've just come off 4 months of summer training and 3 practice matches -4 if you include intraclub- in similar conditions.

They weren't stuffing highly paid stuffing professionals whose whole lives are structured around playing the sport at the highest level.
exactly. Same humidity as Melbourne. If we'd played last night where it felt like humidity was in the 90s we'd have been rooted.

To add to this it was about 5 times more humid at the Friday night game. Maybe we shouldn't play in Melbourne either.  :lol

Humidity wouldn't have affected them at the beginning of the game - just a cop-out excuse.

aint it sad l'm watching the replay just now & with 1.30 left in the 3rd quarter Rance is the only players attacking the GCS forwards in the the backline. 3 atempts & not one player backs him up or trys helping him put pressure on their forwards. McDonough is in the frame standing there

Anyone know what the usual set-up is for pre Gold Coast games training?
a couple of bongs and a morning surf?

Hmm, with the way they played, this may not have been far off of the mark.......

Nor are your ways my ways,” says the Lord.

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are my ways higher than your ways,
And my thoughts than your thoughts."

dont know where you got your figures from but othe Seaway recorded temps around 23 degrees and humidity in high 60s/low 70s and the Seaway tends to be cooler than inland

got it off the bureau site. It said 33%. I was at both night games. Etihad humidity was insane. I froze and didn't notice the humidity in qld whilst I was dropping sweat after etihad. The humidity had nothing to do with the way we played.
