Petard is a better footballer than dea and bathchelor that's why he played finals and they didn't
Then why not delist them if they are that deficient.

i reckon people have it wrong anyway. for me mcintosh is the one we need to step up coming off hb i really want to see us put games into this kid.

dea is better skilled than petterd and does need to take the next step. if he can take that step id be playing him in front of petterd every day of the week.

i dont see the need to keep petterd certainly not as a defender we have numerous options down there. mcintosh, dea, grimes, vlastuin morris, houli, ellis, conca and deledio why play the unskilled petterd down there at all.
id keep him as a rookie for one more yr and that would be as a forward  we have just edwards ohanlon and possibly knights who are medium sized forwards.

With Derick being delisted I would think orren is required

If orren  is got rid of too, the ruck stocks are very bare

Orren is staying as a mature age rookie - club said this 3 weeks ago

See:

We have Hampson now so the Big O gets to play 3rd ruck (or 4th if McBean comes along as many people think he will) all season in the VFL unless we get an injury is my guess.

injury will seemingly require Mcbean and Griffiths to play ruck at either senior or reserve level

Maric, Hampson, Orren seems at least one ruck short. I would surprised if we dont draft another Derickx type, mature age ruckman as a late pick or rookie.

Surely you can't be serious Blaise. Worst disposal on our list by a mile.

His disposal efficiency is above league average at near 80%, what do u base your claims on or are u making it up as you go ::)

Petterd lacks composure and is a mediocre kick at best. Batchelor and Dea are better in both departments and would easily do the same job in defence but with better rebound. Constantly rushing Petterd back from injury to go straight into the side was very annoying to watch. Was bad enough he played games when he was fit while Batchelor and Dea played at Coburg. Petterd doesn't even stand out at Coburg. There's only 3 or 4 players who would come straight in after a 3 week injury. Dimma treats him like one of these players rather than the 35th best player at the club which he is
